Nonviolent Defense has been the most useful method of bringing about positive democratic change to countries from around the world. We understand that while frustration and anger about certain conditions are necessary before change can be realized. But it is vital that the people learn about the constructive ways of channeling their frustrations in a way that it can translate into organized action to be effective and bring about change rather than falling in the trap of engaging in violence, which have failed in the past and will fail again.

We truly believe in this principle and want to provide that kind of deliberate education about the history and tactics of nonviolent action so that those who desire positive change can have a better chance of succeeding.
